Our Organic FARMHOUSE EGGS®come from hens fed an organically certified diet. Farms producing FARMHOUSE EGGS® are certified for organic production in accordance with the stringent requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Our hens are raised in cage-free houses with areas dedicated to bathing and preening, perches for roosting, with secure, comfortable nests. Protected outside areas accompany the hens’ living quarters for safe outdoor activities. No hormones* are used with any laying hens and no antibiotics are ever added to our organic feed.

Why are our eggs brown?
They come from brown hens. Yup, that's all there is to it.
Are your cartons recyclable and what are they made of?
Our eggs come in either polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or biodegradable pulp paper cartons depending where you live. Both PET and pulp paper cartons are made from recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. Specifically, our 24 count packages are made out of 100% recyclable PETE which is also 100% recyclable with #1 PETE in most communities.
